Range Rover Rental in Kuala Lumpur
Three Range Rovers covering a wide spread: the Velar at RM1,200 a day, the Sport SVR at RM2,200 and the full-size Vogue at RM4,499. All three are luxury SUVs first and off-roaders second, which for Klang Valley use is the right way round.

The Velar at RM1,200 a day, RM5,600 a week or RM12,000 a month is the value entry and the one we rent most. It is a mid-size SUV with a 2.0-litre turbo four, five seats, a clean minimalist cabin and dimensions that behave in ordinary car parks. For a month-long stay in KL where you want presence without a supercar budget, it is hard to beat.
The Sport SVR at RM2,200 is the loud one: a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 575 bhp and an exhaust that announces itself in a basement car park. It is booked for weddings, for entourage work where the car needs to be noticed, and by people who simply want to hear that engine for a weekend. Fuel consumption is 16 to 18 litres per 100 km and we do not pretend otherwise.
The Vogue at RM4,499 is the chauffeur car. Air suspension, executive rear seats, a whisper-quiet cabin and the twin-turbo V8. This is the one that gets booked to collect somebody from KLIA and take them to a hotel and then to meetings for three days, and it is the car most often paired with a driver, not self-driven.
Size, plainly: the Vogue is five metres long and wide with it. Older city-centre car parks — the Jalan Sultan area, some Bukit Bintang basements, several older office towers — are difficult and occasionally impossible. Newer malls, hotel valet, KLCC, Bangsar South and Mont Kiara are all fine. The Velar has none of these problems.
All three ride on air or adaptive suspension and cope well with KL's rougher surfaces and unmarked humps. Ground clearance is a non-issue on all three, which is the practical reason a Range Rover often beats a low German saloon for anyone regularly visiting older housing areas or construction sites.
Fuel across the range: Velar around 10 to 12 litres per 100 km, Sport SVR 16 to 18, Vogue 15 to 17, all on RON 97. Only the Sport SVR and Velar carry published weekly and monthly rates; ask us for a long-term figure on the Vogue and we will quote it.

Range Rover rental questions
Which Range Rover should I rent for a wedding?
The Sport SVR at RM2,200 if you want the car heard as well as seen, or the Vogue at RM4,499 if the priority is a quiet, dignified rear cabin for the bride. Both have high seat height and wide-opening doors, which makes getting in and out in a gown far easier than any coupe on our fleet.
Will a Range Rover Vogue fit in Kuala Lumpur car parks?
In newer malls, hotels and office towers, yes. In older city-centre basements with narrow ramps and low height bars it is genuinely difficult and sometimes impossible. If your days involve older parts of town, take the Velar instead — same badge, same character, and it parks like a normal car.
What is the cheapest Range Rover you rent?
The Velar at RM1,200 a day, RM5,600 a week or RM12,000 a month. It is the same price as the BMW X4 and the Mercedes-AMG A35, and it is our most popular long-term SUV because the monthly rate works out to roughly ten days of hire for thirty days of car.
