Sunway is one of our closest areas — about ten minutes from the SS15 base — so delivery is free and usually quick, typically 25 to 40 minutes from a confirmed booking. We cover Bandar Sunway, Sunway South Quay, Sunway Damansara-side residences, the university campus and the hotels. Handover happens at your hotel driveway, condominium lobby or a designated bay at Sunway Pyramid, whichever is easiest. Licence check, walkaround, photo record, keys, done in about ten minutes. Collection at the end of the hire is at your door too, at whatever time suits.

Sunway, and why renting here works the way it does
Bandar Sunway is a self-contained township built on a former tin-mining site, and its whole layout follows from that: the lagoon at Sunway Lagoon is a flooded mining pool, and the resort, mall, university and hospital were built around it. Sunway Pyramid, with its Egyptian frontage and giant lion, is one of the busiest malls in the Klang Valley. Sunway University and Monash University Malaysia share the education precinct, which brings a large student population and the food and rental economy that follows. Sunway Medical Centre is a major private hospital drawing patients from across the region. The BRT Sunway Line runs on an elevated dedicated track linking the LRT at Setia Jaya and USJ 7, and the Canopy Walk links most of the township on foot.
Students at Sunway and Monash, hotel guests at Sunway Resort and Pyramid Tower, patients and families visiting Sunway Medical Centre, and conference attendees. Medical visitors want a comfortable ride and an easy step in and out, so they take a Mercedes saloon or an Alphard — the sliding door matters when someone is recovering. Students book the Golf GTI and the Civic Type R, mostly for weekends. Families in for the theme park take a Vellfire, and those go early in school holidays. Corporate hires from the offices around Sunway Geo and Pinnacle go to a BMW or Audi saloon. Monthly rentals are common with visiting academics and medical staff on short postings.

Getting there from SS15
Sunway sits directly on the Kesas Highway with the New Pantai Expressway to the north-east and the LDP a short hop away, which makes it unusually well connected. From SS15 it is a ten-minute run. The pinch point is local, not highway: Jalan Lagoon Selatan and the roads around Pyramid are heavily congested at weekends, on public holidays and every evening around 6pm, and the mall's entry queues can be long. Kesas tolls are a couple of ringgit. If you are only moving within the township, the Canopy Walk and BRT are genuinely faster than driving at busy times, which is worth knowing before you circle for a bay.
Parking in Sunway
Sunway Pyramid has an enormous multi-storey car park charged by the hour, and it still fills at weekends — arrive before 11am or expect to queue. The hotels charge a nightly rate for guest parking. Sunway Medical Centre has its own paid parking that gets tight during morning clinic hours. University parking is permit-controlled during term time, so visitors should use the public car parks instead. Residential condominiums require visitor registration at the guardhouse. On-street parking in the older Bandar Sunway shoplot rows is limited and busy from lunchtime onwards.

Questions about renting in Sunway
Can you deliver to a Sunway hotel or the medical centre?
Yes, both, at no charge. For hotels we meet you in the driveway and the concierge will hold the car for the few minutes handover takes. For Sunway Medical Centre we normally meet in the visitor car park, not the drop-off, which is kept clear for patients. Give us a mobile number so the driver can call on arrival.
How bad is parking at Sunway Pyramid?
Manageable on a weekday morning, difficult after 11am at weekends and during school holidays, when the entry queues alone can take fifteen minutes. Parking is charged hourly. If you are staying in the township, the Canopy Walk and BRT will often get you there faster than driving and looking for a bay.
Do you rent to Sunway and Monash students?
Yes, subject to a valid full licence, our minimum age and a refundable card deposit. Weekend hires are the usual pattern, and a Golf GTI or a Civic RS is the most affordable way into our fleet — bear in mind everything we hold is premium, so the deposit is higher than a budget hire. Book earlier around semester breaks and long weekends.
